As a Disability Confident Committed employer, we actively design recruitment processes that are inclusive, accessible and fair. All our consultants are trained to deliver searches in line with the Disability Confident Scheme, ensuring candidates with disabilities are supported at every stage.

This means:

  • Any applicant who meets the essential criteria for a role and has a disability, as defined by the Equality Act 2010, is guaranteed an interview under the scheme.
  • All job specifications highlight our Disability Confident status and explain how applicants can self-identify.
  • Reasonable adjustments are proactively offered and consistently applied from application through to interview and onboarding.
  • Communication with candidates requesting adjustments is clear, supportive and respectful, ensuring they feel confident and empowered to fully engage with the process.

We have partnered with the Housing Diversity Network (HDN), a not-for-profit social enterprise established in 2003. HDN is dedicated to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) within the housing sector. They offer a range of services, including training, consultancy, mentoring, and assessments, all tailored to support organisations in embedding EDI principles into their operations.
