Assets Data Consultant, Anchor

Asset data quality is a major area of concern across the housing sector. Reliable information is essential for compliance, investment decisions and the effective management of homes, but there is a limited pool of consultants who combine detailed asset data expertise with the ability to lead change and provide senior-level assurance. 

Anchor needed someone who could quickly establish credibility across the business and deliver four interdependent priorities: stabilising the Asset Strategy & Data team; leading the business-side data migration and quality assurance workstream; beginning the development of a property data dictionary and data quality framework; and aligning the redesigned investment planning process with the new team structure. 

The successful consultant would need to work closely with senior asset leaders, incoming managers and project stakeholders. They also needed to move beyond diagnosis, introducing clear controls, responsibilities and transition arrangements while maintaining momentum across a demanding post-restructure programme. 

Fran delivered the agreed objectives across all four workstreams. She helped establish and stabilise the team, supported recruitment activity, strengthened quality assurance around asset data and migration, progressed the data dictionary and quality framework, and aligned team activity with the redesigned investment planning process. The initial four-month contract was extended, reflecting the value of her contribution and Anchor's confidence in her work. 

Anchor described Fran as excellent and a real asset to what the organisation wanted to achieve. Her conduct throughout the assignment was regarded as superb, and Anchor would welcome the opportunity to engage her again on future contracts.
