The Challenge
Accent Housing Group created the Chief Information Officer role to lead its technology, data, and transformation functions. The organisation needed a strategic leader to shape and deliver a digital and data strategy, drive business simplification, and ensure technology improved both employee efficiency and the customer experience. The role required a proactive leader with a strong track record of delivery, capable of challenging existing ways of working while bringing fresh ideas and driving collaboration across teams. Overcoming internal resistance to change and securing buy-in at all levels, including the Board and Executive Team, were critical priorities.
